LIP AUGMENTATION
LIP AUGMENTATION
Lip augmentation is a cosmetic procedure that can give you fuller, plumper lips. These days, an injectable dermal filler is the most commonly used method of lip augmentation. This is not a permanent treatment, and the filler will absorb and breakdown over a period of several months.
As you age your lips become thinner and less defined due to your body producing less protein collagen. So Lip augmentation can be a fantastic treatment that can increase the fullness of your lips, and also enhance the definition of your lips to create a more desirable and youthful appearance and defined smile. Dermal fillers can also help turn the corners of the mouth upwards.
Lip fillers are extremely popular amongst my younger clients. Followers of the latest trends in lip size and style where head turning pouts are desirable, or simple definition and volume are preferred. The treatment can be tailored to your needs providing a natural or fuller look. Using the latest techniques to create the look that is right for you , being my top priority.
My favourite products to use for lip augmentation is Juvederm because of its quality and longevity. Juvederm is also the world’s leading brand of dermal fillers. So I am very proud to be able to use the best for my clients.
Benefits of this treatment:
- Correcting lip symmetry.
- Improving the lines around the lips known as the perioral lines.
- Adding volume to the lip body.
- Creating definition to the vermillion border, the outer edge of the lips.
- Defining the Cupid’s bow.
Please note that only 1ml of product will be injected per treatment session. This is to ensure safe practice and will help to reduce any potential complications during the procedure and also minimise swelling and bruising post treatment.
An Aftercare advice information booklet will be given to you on completion of your treatment. This tells you all about what to expect such as bruising and swelling. It will also give you practical tips on how to manage these side effects of having the treatment.
Remember as a medical professional I am responsible for your aftercare, therefore I am always around to answer any questions or concerns, and also to offer any reassurance or support.
Thank you , Dawn xx
